Pipe aiming for hat-trick

20/1 to make it three consecutive ProTour victories

Justin Pipe goes into this Saturday’s Players Championship event in Germany aiming to secure a hat-trick of wins on the PDC ProTour.

Pipe won his first ever professional title with victory over Phil Taylor in the final of the Dublin Players Championship event three weeks ago, then followed that up with victory in Killarney last weekend where he beat Gary Anderson in the final.

The 39-year-old is now priced at odds of 20/1 to make it three consecutive ProTour victories when the players congregate in Gladbeck, Germany this weekend.

Australian Simon Whitlock heads the betting at odds of 7/1. The Australian comes into the tournament following a disappointing day at the Championship League Winners Group where he won just one of his seven group stage matches.

James Wade, Paul Nicholson and Wes Newton share second favouritism, all at odds of 12/1. Neither Wade nor Newton were involved in the Championship League but Nicholson did enjoy a run to the final, where he was once again thwarted by Taylor as The Power regained the Championship League title in emphatic fashion.
