International entrants confirmed

The final two places will contested for at the PDPA Qualifier

The full compliment of 14 international champions has been confirmed for this winter’s PDC World Championships.

14 regional winners will be joined by the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour Order of Merit Qualifier, Paul Barham, and the PDPA Qualifier runner-up in the Preliminary Round of the 2012 PDC World Championships.

They include South African Masters winner Devon Petersen, Danish Champion Per Laursen, East European qualifier Dietmar Burger, New Zealand champion Warren French and German champion Kevin Munch, amongst others.

Winners of the Preliminary Round matches will progress to the first round of the tournament.

Those already qualified for the first round include the leading North American from the PDC Order of Merit, Darin Young, the DPA Australian Grand Prix winner Sean Reed and Oceanic Masters Winner Geoff Kime.

Following this weekend’s Players Championships events in Wigan the top 32 from the PDC Order of Merit will be joined by 16 Players Championship Order of Merit qualifiers and four European Order of Merit qualifiers in qualifying for the first round.

The final two places will contested for at the PDPA Qualifier on November 28 then the draw for the World Championships will be made live on Sky Sports News at around 11:30am on Tuesday.
